Do big waves make you feel queasy? If so, then look away now. The waves at Praia do Norte, Nazare, Portugal are famed for being some of the largest in the world, attracting the world’s elite surfers as a result. Filmmaker Javier Sobrado Lasheras, 27, wanted to capture the size and scale of Praia do Norte’s waves as part of a documentary he is filming on the biggest waves in the Basque country. The video shows a host of professional surfers riding the Atlantic waves, which at times look more like white water or the edge of a waterfall.
